Peter Niles – Police Commission

Peter Niles is currently the Chairman of the Clinton Police Commission. He is a graduate of the Citizen’s Police Academy and credits that experience with his interest and involvement in law enforcement matters. While a member of the Police Commission for the past 6 years, Peter led the hiring search for a new Chief of Police that resulted in the hiring of our current Chief Vincent DeMaio. He is very active in his relationship with Chief DeMaio and with how our police department policies affect the daily lives of the people of Clinton. He is a long time member of the Clinton Lions Club. Peter and his wife Elaine have lived in Clinton since 1978.
