Laurie Jaffe – Zoning Board of Appeals

I am running for a seat on the Zoning Board of Appeals because I believe that my professional experience makes me well-qualified to serve.  I moved to Clinton from Chicago several years ago after working as a commercial litigation attorney for 30 years. In view of my legal training and practice, I understand the importance of following the rules and making sure that variances are granted only when properly demonstrated.  I’m a substitute teacher in the Clinton Public Schools and am a member of the Shoreline League of Democratic Women. I hope to be able to further contribute to the Town as a member of the ZBA.
