Christine Goupil – First Selectman

This is a pivotal point for Clinton’s future and it requires a strong leader ready to take action. Christine Goupil is committed to realizing Clinton’s potential by making it the place to do business on the Shoreline. After years of fighting for long-term, sustainable growth as a two-term elected official on the Planning and Zoning Commission, Christine will build pride in our community by actively pursuing opportunities in sites such as Unilever and the Downtown. She will lower taxes and fight for the vitality of Clinton by encouraging appropriate economic development while protecting our small town character.

Christine has distinguished herself as a public servant, volunteer, and advocate for the Town of Clinton. She is respected for her ability to communicate her passion and vision for the Town and to build the bi-partisan support necessary to move projects forward. She looks forward to working with both residents and business owners seeking to create a more vibrant, positive, and proactive Clinton and to make our town the jewel of the Shoreline.
